About this paper

Part 11 (Q501–550) of the Sir Adnan '1000 Advanced Booklet Everyday Science' one-liner compilation (monster-data 'CSS MPT PAST PAPERS' pack). The booklet prints statement + answer only, so each item is published in the standard MCQ format with 3 authored plausible distractors under Anas's 2026-10-28 single-format decision and optionsSource recorded as 'authored'. Only 12 of 50 printed items are published: 37 items restate facts already published in earlier parts of the same booklet (Q1–100, Q301–500) and are cross-linked to those parts, not re-extracted — e.g. Thar coal (Q350/Q474/Q60), Khaur 1915 (Q41), Sui 1952 (Q43/Q459), OPEC 1960/Vienna (Q56/Q57), KANUPP 1972 (Q72), Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park (Q94/Q482), CNG/LNG expansions (Q62/Q63), LPG composition (Q308/Q456), the coal-rank set (Q81–Q84), biogas methane/anaerobic decomposition (Q361/Q362), and the corrected first-refinery fact (Q424, Attock 1922). Printed Q537 (first hydroelectric project of Pakistan at Malakand 1952) is dropped as unanswerable as printed, repeating the Q363/Q434 claim dropped in runs 42–43: Renala 1925 is the oldest station, Jabban/Malakand-I dates to 1937 with a 1952 expansion, and Dargai/Malakand-II was commissioned in December 1952, so no single standard answer is identifiable. Two NOTE flags: Q531 (Australia leads coal exports by value and metallurgical coal; Indonesia leads by total tonnage) and Q536/Q538 (cleanest-renewable and costliest-source claims are frame/study-dependent). This is a practice set, never titled as a past paper, and Q551–1000 remain for later runs.

Questions

Paper practice FAQs

Is this a CSS MPT past paper? +

No. This is a practice set built from the Sir Adnan '1000 Advanced Booklet Everyday Science' one-liner compilation. It is labelled practice in the title, slug and paperType and must not be quoted as an official past paper.

Why are only 12 of 50 printed items published here? +

This stretch of the booklet largely restates its own earlier parts: 37 of the 50 items repeat facts already published in Q1–100 and Q301–500 of the same booklet (Thar coal, Khaur 1915, Sui 1952, OPEC 1960/Vienna, KANUPP 1972, the Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park, CNG/LNG expansions, LPG composition, the coal-rank set, biogas facts, and the corrected Attock refinery fact), so they are cross-linked to those parts rather than published twice. Printed Q537 (Malakand 1952 as the first hydroelectric project) is dropped as unanswerable as printed, repeating the claim already dropped in runs 42–43. Only the 12 genuinely new items are published here.

The original list had no options — why are these options authored? +

The source prints statement + answer only, with no (a)-(d) options. Under Anas's 2026-10-28 single-format decision, each item is published in the standard MCQ format with 3 authored plausible distractors; the questions and answers are the booklet's, and every answer was verified as the standard answer. optionsSource is recorded as 'authored' so authored options are never mistaken for the paper's.

What does this part cover, and what comes next? +

Q501–550's new items cover the largest oil consumer (USA), the world's largest hydropower dam (Three Gorges), petroleum in transport, natural gas for electricity in Pakistan, the LPG expansion, the largest coal exporter, the liquid/gas/solid fossil fuels, the cleanest renewable and costliest energy sources, and Pakistan's largest natural-gas user (the power sector). The booklet runs to 1000 items; Q551–1000 are held for later conversion runs in the same format.
